Cherokee Co. Deputies searching for inmate who left job site

CENTRE, Ala. — According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver: Investigators and deputies are searching for a work release inmate who left the job site on Monday, October 16, 2017 at approximately 10:30 am.

Jimmy Wayne Blair Jr., 40, left a construction site in Centre in a truck belonging to his employer, a 2003 Dodge 3500 flatbed, blue in color.

Blair was in jail on property crimes. He is described as a white male, 6'2" and weighing 210 pounds. His place of residence is Silver Creek, Georgia.
