Fort Payne PD: One arrested, another injured after a fight at Ole Tymer's

FORT PAYNE, Ala. — According to a release by the Fort Payne Police Department: On Sunday August 13th at approximately 1:30 in the morning a disturbance broke out at Ol Tymer’s BBQ Restaurant located at 2207 Gault Ave North in the parking lot.  Found unconscious lying on the ground, was Ismael Isaiah Reeves, age 27 of Fyffe.

Witnesses said several patrons were harassing Reeves inside the restaurant and it carried outside to the parking area. Reeves was treated on scene and transported to Dekalb Regional Medical Center and later transferred to Erlanger Trauma Unit due to head trauma.

Also injured was Justin Dewayne Jones, 25 years old of Fyffe. Jones was transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center by family members where he was arrested for Disorderly Conduct.  This sort of conduct at establishments that sells alcohol in the city of Fort Payne is very rare but this conduct is being taken serious with charges forthcoming as this investigation continues.
