FORT PAYNE, Ala. — The following are reported incidents, arrests, and accidents from the Fort Payne Police Department for Monday, May 8 – Thursday, May 11.

MONDAY, May 8

• Reported Incidents (5/8)
  • Damaged Property – Occurred at 4910 Martin Ave NE, a gate was damaged, valued at $2000.00
  • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 2003 Sanders Ave NE Apt 129, an air valve on a tire was damaged, valued at $5.00
  • Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Card – Occurred at 935 Fruit Farm Road E, charges of $216.00 were made without authorization
• Reported Arrests (5/8)
  • Gloria Sue Ballenger, age 65 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Assault and Menacing at 10:22 am
  • Wesley Matthew Abernathy, age 24 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Warrant for Outside Agency at 9:35 pm

  • 1 Accident with 0 Injuries

TUESDAY, May 9

• Reported Incidents (5/9)
  • Theft of Property – Occurred at 500 Gault Ave N, a SCCY 9 mm handgun was taken, valued at $318.00 
  • Criminal Mischief – Occurred at 1006 Dogtown Road SE, windshields on two box trucks were damaged, valued at $400.00
  • Theft of Services – Occurred at 703 Clark Ave NE, $50.00 of power was used
  • Fraudulent use of Credit/Debit Card – Occurred at 1050 Airport Road, charges of $57.18
  • Duty upon Striking an Unoccupied Vehicle – Occurred at 2001 Glenn Blvd SW, a door on a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban was damaged, valued at $300.00

  • Marcus Laquon Maddox, age 21 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Failure to Appear at 8:56 pm
  • Spencer Trey Posey, age 23 of Bessemer, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 10:50 pm
  • Stoney Lebron Haney, age 27 of Fort Payne, was arrested on a Warrant for Speeding at 10:56 pm

WEDNESDAY, May 10

  • Fraudulent use of Credit/Debit Card – Occurred at 525 Kelly Road E, charges of $3836.40 were made without authorization
  • Damaged Vehicle – Occurred at 601 Greenhill Blvd NW Apt B 103, paint on a 2010 Honda Accord was damaged, valued at $500.00

  • Thomas Riley Thacker, Jr., age 28 of Gadsden, was arrested for Carrying Brass Knuckles at 2:02 am
  • Landon Dane Fuqua, age 23 of Leesburg, was arrested on a Warrant for Outside Agency at 10:52 pm

  • Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Card and Theft of Property – Occurred at 1708 Adamsburg Road E, a bank card, and a wallet were taken, valued at $16.66

  • Michael Walter Fairris, age 30 of Henagar, was arrested for Domestic Violence at 1:56 pm
  • Christopher Paul Vincent, age 33 of Fort Payne, was arrested for Domestic Violence and Interference with a Domestic Violence Emergency at 6:45 pm
  • Glenda Michelle Lanier, age 35 of Fort Payne, was arrested on Three Charges of Endangering Welfare of a Child at 8:10 pm
  • John Paul Brown, age 46 of Fort Payne, was arrested Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia at 8:45 pm
• Reported Accidents (5/11)
  • An accident occurred at Airport Road NW and Greenhill Blvd NW, Pledge O'Neal age 63 of Mentone, driving a 1991 Chevrolet S10 stuck Angela Brooke Neal, age 37 of Mentone, driving a 2006 KIA Optima. Mae Hunt, age 71 of Mentone, passenger in the KIA, was transported to DeKalb Regional by Dekalb Ambulance Service.
