Marijuana, Xanax found at Fyffe High School by K-9 Unit

FYFFE, Ala. — On Friday April 28, 2017, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 units conducted searches of Crossville High School and Fyffe High School. During the search of Fyffe High School a juvenile was found to have marijuana in a locker as well as Xanax on their person. The case has been turned over to the Juvenile Probation Office.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said: “The deputies and our police departments working together help us continue the fight against drugs in our county. Our two K-9 units are a vital part in our efforts to combat illegal drug activity on the road and in our schools. Superintendent Barnett continues to work closely with the Sheriff’s Office in order to keep our schools safe.”
