Sylvania Announces New Fall Festival

Sylvania Announces New Fall Festival

On October 11th, the town of Sylvania will launch an all-day festival, which will be called Pumpkins in the Park.

The festival will feature seasonal activities such as pumpkin carving and pie contests, as well as entertainment and vendors ranging from arts and crafts to laundry detergent and refurbished furniture.

*(Vendor spots are $25 per booth and are still available at this time)*

Marla Fairley, Sylvania Town Clerk, has a significant role in planning the event.

"The mayor and council are really behind it all. Years ago, before my time, there were annual hay rides for the people in the town, and I think that was the idea behind this. A lot of other towns have festivals, and we just wanted to do something to give back to the people in the community."

Entertainment line up:

11:00 am - 11:30 Rebecca Monroe & Cheryl Monroe

11:45 - 12:15 Vicki & Brannigan Wilson

12:30 - 1:15 Tatum Brothers

1:30 - 2:15 Dixie High Road

2:30 - 3:15 Shadow of the Cross
