POWELL, Ala. — Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) will host its Awards Day on Monday, April 29, beginning at 10am in the campus's Tom Bevill Lyceum. 

At the event, students will receive scholarships from four-year universities and colleges, along with certificates and awards for notable service in campus clubs and activities. A reception will follow in the lobby of the Lyceum. The public is invited to attend this ceremony and the reception to help honor NACC students for their accomplishments throughout the year. 

"This is a day we all look forward to each spring," said Andrea Okwu, Coordinator of High School Relations/Recruiting. 

"It's a special time for us to thank and honor students who have shown outstanding academic and leadership abilities during their time on campus. We hope their family and friends will come and be a part of this special occasion to celebrate their success," she concluded.
