RAINSVILLE, Ala. — On October 7, 2017, the Student Government Association at Northeast Alabama Community College (NACC) sponsored the 2018 Miss Northeast Alabama Community College Pageant at the Tom Bevill Lyceum on the Northeast campus. The pageant consisted of nine contestants who attend NACC representing many local communities. The theme for the evening was “Powerful Women” and in coordination with this, each young lady shared with us her definition of what a powerful woman would be.

Each Miss Northeast Pageant contestant was judged on three categories consisting of poise and appearance, interview, and student popular vote. Miss Kalie Davis of Crossville, was crowned Miss Northeast 2018. The Judges’ Interview Award was presented to Kelsi Wetzel of Gurley, and Poise and Appearance Award was presented to Kalie Davis of Crossville and she was also selected as the winner of the Student Popular Vote Award. Miss Davis also received the Miss Congeniality Award for the pageant. Kalie will now represent NACC at many community events and college functions throughout the year.
