FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Last year, the Fort Payne Fire Department sold pink tee shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness. The department raised between $1,500 and $1,600.

The Fire Department now moves to sponsor the annual Relay for Life Survivor Dinner, which will be held on May 28, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Payne’s fellowship hall. The firefighters will serve as “celebrity servers.”

We are proud that the Fort Payne Fire Department will be our sponsor for this year's Relay For Life Survivor Dinner,” said Fort Payne City Council President Brian Baine. “As the Survivor Chairperson, I am especially excited that they have agreed to sponsor this event for all the great survivors of DeKalb County.”
