Superintendent Dr. Jason Barnett said in the statement: "Like most of you, I am ready to get back to a regular school and work schedule. I am receiving word that roads are in good and safe traveling condition. However, in conversation with our transportation department, there are some concerns that the extreme cold will impact bus routes. This two-hour delay should ensure our buses are able to run routes on time and that students are not on the side of the road waiting for buses. Thank you and I appreciate your understanding during this time of extreme weather."
