Circuit Judges Bell, Taylor, Hairston, and the DeKalb County Commission will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony
on July 1, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. in the DeKalb County Courthouse.  During the pandemic shutdown, your state and
local governments worked together to renovate the two jury courtrooms. The renovations on these courtrooms
were the first in decades and were performed primarily by county employees, which conserved tax money.
Members of the public are invited to stop by on that day for the ceremony and tour the renovations.   
The Judges have also invited local librarians from around the county to come on that day to receive some
vintage law books for their collections.  We are proud of the service these libraries provide and are happy to
have this opportunity to assist in their mission to educate the area.  Refreshments will be provided.
