Alabama Native Author Speaks at NACC

Northeast Alabama Community College featured award-winning author Robert R. McCammon at its annual held its annual Arts and Humanities Speakers Forum in April. McCammon addressed a group of over 250 in the college’s Tom Bevill Lyceum and followed his presentation with a book signing. That evening McCammon spoke in the college’s library, followed by with a book signing and reception. Special guests attending these sessions were students from Sylvania High School in addition to Northeast students and the general public.

The Arts and Humanities Speakers Forum is offered for the community as well as the students, faculty, and staff at Northeast and is co-sponsored by the college’s English and Fine Arts Division and Sigma Kappa Delta, the English honor society.
