Little River Canyon and Jacksonville State University Field School are set to host the annual Canyon Camp this summer. Children ages 5 through 8 will attend camp from June 14 to 17, while children in grades 5 and 6 will attend from July 12 to July 15.

For children ages 5 through 8, each day’s events will take place at the canyon center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-off begins at 8:30 a.m. each morning. As of now, there is no schedule posted for the July 12 to July 15 camp, however, it will take place at the canyon center as well.

Campers will get live interactions with amphibians in their natural habitats as well as in the classroom. Campers will also get the opportunity to learn history and observe artifacts from Native people around Lookout Mountain.
