DeKalb CAC to hold Annual Singing with the Stars

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — The DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center will host its 5th Annual Singing with the Stars on June 14 from 6pm to 9:30pm at the Northeast Alabama Community College Lyceum.

This year’s event will feature Exile and the Canyon Land Vocal Band in addition to the performances from all of the finalists. This year’s finalists include: Sarah Drake of Collinsville, Erica Estes of Fort Payne, Kaylee Willingham of Geraldine, Hannah Cornett and Hunter Hall of Ider, Addison Lee of Moon Lake, Eli Reynolds of Plainview, Madeline Baxter of Ruhama, Mara Musik of Sylvania, Drake Jackson of Valley Head, and home school student Laney Travis.

The show schedule is as follows:

  • Doors open at 5pm
  • Show begins at 6pm with The Canyon Land Vocal Band
  • Finalist performances begin at 6:30pm
  • Audience and Judges vote on 3 to advance to the second round
  • Performance by Exile
  • Intermission
  • Top Three Performances
  • Announcement of the Winner, runner-up, and second runner-up
  • Closing song featuring all contestants, The Canyon Land Vocal Band, and Exile

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact the Children’s Advocacy Center at (256) 997-9700. Tickets are $15 for adults (18 and older) and $8 for students. Children, 4 & under, have free admission. All proceeds will benefit the DeKalb County Children’s Advocacy Center.
