FORT PAYNE, Ala. — Green Axes Axe Throwing held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday to celebrate their grand opening which occurred earlier this year.

Located in downtown Fort Payne, Green Axes provides a safe and fun environment whether you're out with your friends, bringing the family along, or coming with your church group.

After only a few months in business, Green Axe is already preparing for expansion with a new upstairs area with additional bays for private parties.

According to greenaxes.com, all axe throwers must be at least 10 years of age, and ages 10-14 must be accompanied by a parent for supervision.

"We are excited to officially be a part of downtown Fort Payne and bring something completely new to the area," said David and Haley Martin, owners of Green Axes. "We have been overwhelmed by the support of the community and look forward to continued growth!"
