By Staff Reports

FYFFE, Ala. — On Friday April 28, 2017, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 units conducted searches of Crossville High School and Fyffe High School. During the search of Fyffe High School a juvenile was found to have marijuana in a locker as well as Xanax on their person. The case has been turned over to the Juvenile Probation Office.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said: “The deputies and our police departments working together help us continue the fight against drugs in our county. Our two K-9 units are a vital part in our efforts to combat illegal drug activity on the road and in our schools.
